You’ve got until Halloween to buy your sturgeon spearing tag for Lake Winnebago. DNR sturgeon biologist Margaret Stadig said they’re expecting some decent chances at a big fish this season.
“It really has some of the most deep rich history and it is the best time to just kind of get out and hang out with friends and enjoy and also just celebrate a dinosaur fish.”
