Peg Lautenschlager is the incumbent Attorney General for the state of Wisconsin, heading into the September 12th primary. Before she was first elected to the position in 2002, Lautenschlager served as the US Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin. She is a native of Fond du Lac.
Kathleen Falk is in her third term as the Dane County Executive since 1997. Prior to being elected to that position, she served as an Assistant Attorney General for the state Department of Justice and was also Wisconsin's Public Intervenor for 12 years. Falk is a native of Milwaukee.
