Russ Feingold and Tom Barrett inspire the party faithful as the Fond du Lac County Democratic Party opens its campaign headquarters. Both the US Senate and Governor’s candidate stopped in Fond du Lac after Sheboygan’s Brat Days parade Saturday. Feingold took a shot at Republican candidate Ron Johnson who contends the senator has been on the public dole for 28 years. Feingold says that would have to apply to others like police, firefighters and service men and women and he took exception to it.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett told the gathering creating and retaining jobs is a priority. 52nd State Assembly candidate Paul Czisny set the tone for Feingold and Barrett’s remarks saying some tough decisions lie ahead.

Also attending the gathering where Lt. Governor’s candidate Henry Sanders and State Treasurer Dawn Marie Sass.
