Marquette went cold in the second half and watched DePaul’s Mike Stovall hit a jumper with seven-tenths of a second left as the Blue Demons stunned the Golden Eagles 51-50 in Big East action in Rosemont, Illinois on Wednesday night.

De Paul (8-10, 1-5) ended a 24-game Big East Conference regular season losing streak and won for the first time in the last 6-games. 

Marquette (11-7), 2-4) got 14 points from Lazar Hayward, but all 14 points came in the first half.  He was shut out in the second half.

Marquette missed two free throws with 8 seconds left and Stovall then sank the jumper with less than a second to play to win it.  It was DePaul’s only lead of the night.
