The Detroit Tigers jumped out to a 10-0 lead after four innings and went on to beat the Brewers 10-1 at Miller Park on Tuesday night. Rick Helling made his first start of the season for the Brewers and struck out the side on 9 pitches in the first inning. His game went south after that. Helling was knocked around for 7 runs, including a six run third that included a 3-run homer off the bat of Magglio Ordonez Ordonez also homered in the 2nd, clubbing two of the Tigers 4 home runs. That's 5 homers for Ordonez against Helling in 21 official at bats. It made a winner of rookie Zach Miner, who pitched the first complete game of his career. He allowed a run on 5 hits to beat the Brewers. Helling said his problems had nothing to do with his elbow and manager Ned Yost said he intends to give Helling another start. The two teams close out the series with a day game at Miller Park this afternoon.
