Authorities in Dodge County say one person was killed and six others injured Tuesday night, following a five-vehicle chain reaction crash.
It happened along State Highway 60 in the Town of Rubicon, shortly after 6 p.m. Officials say traffic had stopped because of a backup near County Highway P. An eastbound pickup truck struck the rear of another vehicle, causing the chain reaction crash.
A total of 12 people were in the vehicles involved, with one killed and six others taken to area hospitals for treatment. The names of the victims have not been released.
