With the House vote imminent, Doyle said he’s most interested in the inclusion of state or regional health care exchanges, something Wisconsin has been moving toward. He said that would address Wisconsin’s biggest gap in getting people covered: individuals or small businesses that simply can’t afford to get into the insurance market.

The Governor was in Washington this week for meetings with the president and administration officials, and he said health care was a principal topic of discussion.
