Driver will turn 37 in early February and has one year left on his current contract. He’s scheduled to receive a $2.2-million roster bonus, a $200,000 workout bonus and a $2.6-million base salary. That’s $5-million for an aging player that was held to 37 receptions this season, his lowest total since 2001. Driver did have 3 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s season ending playoff loss to the Giants. Driver is the Packers’ career leader in receptions (735) and receiving yards (10,060). Driver said he would hold no grudges if the Packers decide to go a different direction.
