Wisconsin senior Meghan Duggan and junior Hilary Knight are among the
top 10 finalists for the 2011 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award.
The Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award is given annually to the top player in NCAA Division I women’s ice hockey.
The top 10 finalists will be narrowed to three by a 13-member selection committee comprised of NCAA Division I women’s ice hockey coaches, representatives of the print and broadcast media, an at-large member and a representative of USA Hockey. The three finalists will be named on March 10.
This marks the fifth time multiple Badgers have been in the top 10 together. Sara Bauer (2006) and Jessie Vetter (2009) are the two Badger award winners.
