A transfer hearing turned into a plea agreement and an extradition hearing to Ohio on Wednesday for Edward W. Edwards.

Edwards entered two individual “guilty” plea agreements for the aggravated murders of Kelly Drew and Timothy Hack on Wednesday afternoon during a hearing in the Jefferson County Courthouse. Formally speaking, he pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree intentional homicide.

By pleading guilty, Edwards will face two consecutive life sentences with no possibility of parole. His offical sentencing will take place in August.

Edwards also agreed to be extradidted to Summit County, Ohio to face charges of murdering another young couple, Judith Straub and William Lavacho in 1977. Edwards will face two life sentences in Ohio as well.
