The Fox Cities and the entire country got a chance to learn about a Neenah family and see their new house come together. The episode of “Extreme Makeover – Home Edition” featuring Rhex and Claire Arboleda along with their five children debuted last night. The family watched the show with about 300 builders, contractors, and volunteers, at a party at a hotel in downtown Appleton.

Crews finished building the house on Elm Street two months ago and last night was the first time that people were able to see the inside. It includes a “Superhero” room for the kids to play in and special themes for each of their bedrooms.

CJ used to share her bedroom with three of her four brothers and now she has one all to herself. “I’m just having a fun time in it, relaxing in it,” says the eleven-year-old.

Rhex Arboleda is a music teacher at the Catholic elementary schools in Neenah and Menasha and the show highlighted his “Move to the Groove” program, to combat childhood obesity.
