Rumors of Brett Favre wanting to play football in 2008 continue.
ESPN reported on Thursday that Brett Favre has been working out at least 3 days a week at a local high school in Mississippi, fueling speculation that he may be considering a comeback this season. ESPN also reported that the Packers may not want Favre back. During "NFL Live" on Thursday the network said that GM Ted Thompson paid Favre a visit in Mississippi in May and didn't bring up Favre coming back. If he had, Favre may have accepted an offer to return.
WTMJ-TV interviewed, Brett's brother Scott on Thursday. He said he thought it was 50-50 that Brett would want to play in 2008. The only comment Brett has made is telling a Mississippi newspaper that "It's all rumors" via text message on Wednesday.
Favre is scheduled to be in Green Bay on July 19th to induct Frank Winters into the Packers Hall of Fame.
