With speculation already underway for the next presidential campaign, one of Wisconsin's US Senators has no regrets about deciding not to enter the race. Several people are already eyeing a presidential run in 2008, but US Senator Russ Feingold says he's happy to be staying in the Senate. He says it allows him to focus on getting work done.

Illinois Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) touched off a large amount of speculation with a recent visit to New Hampshire. Feingold (D-WI) says he's happy to see Obama getting so much attention. The Wisconsin Democrat says Obama could be a great candidate and he hopes the Illinois Senator runs.

Still, with the campaign season kicking off almost two years before the elections, Feingold says it's nice to be able to focus on doing what he was elected to do. Feingold announced earlier this year he wouldn't make a White House run in 2008.
