It took a Racine County jury just over an hour to determine a Kenosha County Firefighter and EMT was not Guilty of sexually assaulting a female patient in the back of a rescue squad heading into a Racine in July of 2011.
The three-day trial ended with tears and hugs from Jodin Froeber’s wife. The couple having been thru “hell,” in his words, the last two years, during which they also lost their home to help pay for his defense.
The victim, who’d suffered seizures at a camp, testified about someone sexually touching her, and hearing clicking noises — like a camera.
Froeber has been on paid administrative leave since being charged. His return to work with Somers Fire-Rescue will have include total recertification for his EMS license.
