Flags will fly at half-staff across Wisconsin on Saturday.

That’s in honor of a Wisconsin soldier killed in the Korean War 73 years ago. Charles Dickman will be buried with military honors in his hometown of Cashton on Saturday. Dickman was a 17-year-old Army Private First Class when he was reported missing in action on July 12, 1950 in South Korea. His remains were positively identified this summer.

Governor Tony Evers signed an executive order for flags to be flown at half staff in Dickman’s honor.
