Flood waters are receding in the southwest where clean-up begins but there's more flooding now across the southern part of the state.

Lori Getter at the state Emergency Operations Center says continued light rain and run-off keep creeks, streams and rivers rising. Minor flooding now reported from the hard hit southwest through Rock, Jefferson, Racine and Kenosha Counties.

Getter says it's mostly basements, some street flooding and water sitting in low lying fields. One mobile home park in Kenosha had to be evacuated. Getter says they're areas that traditionally flood when there's too much water.

And that's the problem. It's been so wet, there's no where for the water to go. More rain, some of it heavy, is predicted for the same water-logged area tonight.

Getter says everyone is on stand-by. The State Emergency Operations center will remain open and in contact with local authorities in case help is needed.

Getter says early estimates put the damage at more than thirty-million dollars in the southwest and that doesn't include the crops wiped out by the floods.

Someone from FEMA is on site and they will start adding up federal damage estimates next week when the waters, hopefully, have drained away.
