Oshkosh police say a former school district employee has been arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student.
Police say the 26-year-old woman, who also allegedly possessed child pornography, was arrested Wednesday afternoon. She was a paraprofessional at Merrill Middle School.
Authorities indicate the sexual activity between her and the 14-year-old student took place in July and August. The woman is no longer employed by the district and school leaders say they contacted authorities when they learned of the alleged activity.
The name of the woman has not been made public.
