Five men tied to the Green Bay Packers organization are among the preliminary modern-era nominees for the 2009 Class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Safeties Leroy Butler and Eugene Robinson, wide receiver Sterling Sharpe, general manager Ron Wolf (pictured) and team president Bob Harlan are all on the preliminary list. The list will be cut to 25 semifinalists by a vote of the Hall of Fame selectors in late November.
The 2009 Hall of Fame class will be selected and announced at the Super Bowl in Tampa Bay.
