A former UW-Stout student has been sentenced after being charged in the university’s largest ever drug bust. Michael Auckland was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and 2 years of probation in Dunn County Court Monday. The 20-year-old Auckland pleaded no contest to possession of THC and LSD, as party to a crime, and a third count was dismissed.

Auckland and Joshua Schuster were arrested in November after police found more than 6 pounds of marijuana, a large amount of cash, and other controlled substances in their residence near Stout’s Menomonie campus. Schuster was sentenced to a year in jail and 4 years probation in June.
