The investigation into a fatal fire in Janesville on Saturday has linked the blaze to a four-year-old boy living in the house. Investigator Larry Hainstock says the fire was started by the boy, who lit paper in a tennis shoe that was sitting on the living room floor.

The fire killed the boy's eight-year-old brother and hospitalized his two-year-old brother as well.

Hainstock says the owner of the home will be cited for not providing proper smoke detection.

WCLO's Stan Stricker contributed this report.
