Organizers are gearing up for the return of a massive, free dental clinic that will provide an estimated million dollars’ worth of care. The fifth annual Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation Mission of Mercy will take place a week June 28 and 29 at Lake Geneva Badger High School.
Dr. Thomas Raimann, chair of the event, says their priority is for those who have pain or an infection “but we also provide care for any people that we see, that come in.”
More than 1,100 volunteers from 187 Wisconsin communities will help out at the two-day event. M.O.M. is prepared to treat 2,000 people.
Treatment is first-come, first served. There is no photo identification, Social Security number or other personal documentation required. Spanish, Hmong, and sign language interpreters will be on hand.
