A man and his wife, both wanted in connection with a hit and run accident involving an Illinois State Trooper, are jailed in Kenosha County.

Sheriff’s deputies went to an address in the Town of Bristol about a disturbance, but the complaintant instead told them he actually called about a wanted fugitive & a female companion hiding at a neighboring home. The suspect, Cory Wolf, eventually exited the house, and fought when ordered to the ground at gunpoint, resulting in use of a Taser. Deputies found an unloaded handgun in his pocket.

Aside from the Illinois case, the 31-year-old Wolf is also wanted in Arkansas & Oklahoma on nine felony warrants, including attempted homicide, Impersonating an officer and burglary. The female companion, his 24-year-old wife Brittany, was taken into custody on an out-of-state warrant.
