Milwaukee Brewers minor league phenom Yovani Gallardo makes his Major League debut tonight.  Gallardo gets the start on the mound when the Brewers open a series against Barry Bonds and the San Francisco Giants.

Gallardo was 8-3 with a 2.90 ERA in 13 starts at AAA Nashville and led all of AAA in strikeouts with 110 in 77 2/3 innings pitched.  He was called up late last week and his arrival as been a much anticipated one by Brewers fans.

He'll face Giants lefthander Noah Lowry (6-5, 3.96 ERA) in the pitching matchup.  Lowry has struggled of late, putting together a 5.48 ERA in his last four starts.

The Brewers return home after a 5-4 road trip, including 2 out of 3 wins at Minnesota.  The Giants were swept in Boston over the weekend and have dropped four in a row and 9 of their last 12.
