The Milwaukee Bucks final 2nd round pick in last month’s NBA Draft was 6’9, 295 pound forward Tiny Gallon out of Oklahoma. Gallon left Oklahoma after just one season when the NCAA began investigating his recruitment.
The big forward has seen his playing weight balloon to over 300 pounds, but he has still shown a soft touch to hit the outside jumper. He says he learned to shoot the jumper when he was a much smaller player.
Gallon takes exception when people say he has a weight problem. Gallon says that he’s always been comfortable with his weight and never put weight he lost back on. He currently is listed at 295 pounds, but says 285 would be his ideal weight.
Gallon is on the Bucks Summer League roster which begins play in Las Vegas later this month.
