As Kenosha County works to recover from a tornado earlier this week , police are dealing with another problem…gawkers coming to look at the damage. Kenosha County Sheriff's Sergeant Gil Benn says those coming to look are holding up clean-up efforts. He says they've had trucks trying to haul debris stopped by lines of cars moving through the storm damaged neighborhoods.

Several homes were damaged and businesses destroyed when a tornado ripped through the Wheatland area on Monday night. The tornado only caused minor injuries.

Benn says those who live in the tornado-hit area are being patient, but the traffic is keeping some of them from trying to recover their belongings before snowy weather hits the area again.

Benn says they're using extra patrols in certain areas and trying to keep access roads open. One man was arrested for being in the damage area for no reason, while out on bond and having drugs in his vehicle.

WRJN's Tom Karkow contributed to this report.
