Caleb Gindl had three hits, including a triple and a two-run home run as the Milwaukee Brewers rolled to a 6-1 win over the Chicago Cubs at Miller Park on Monday night.

Wily Peralta (10-15) pitched six solid innings for his 10th win of the season.  Peralta struck out seven and walked two.  He allowed an unearned run on five hits.

Edwin Jackson (8-16) lasted just four innings before he was lifted for a pinch hitter.  He allowed two runs on two hits and three walks and wasn’t happy about being pulled in a 2-0 game.  The 16 losses is the most of any pitcher in the National League.  Wily Peralta is next with 15 defeats.

Marco Estrada (6-4, 4.29) pitches tonight’s game two of the series for the Brewers.  Jeff Samardzija (8-12, 4.76) gets the nod for the Cubs.
