Republican National Committee officials are passing through Southeast Wisconsin as part of the "Victory 2008 Tour." The RNC says the West Allis stop Thursday afternoon is meant to highlight steps being taken to ensure Republican victories in upcoming elections.

RNC Chairman Mike Duncan, who's leading the appearance, says Senator John McCain has what it takes to win Wisconsin. He says as Barack Obama is in Berlin Germany Wednesday, Republicans are airing ads in Berlin Wisconsin mentioning Barack Obama's continued opposition to Iraq's troops surge.

Duncan says the two candidates vastly differ on energy policy. He adds McCain brings short and long term energy solution.

"Barack Obama continues to be Dr. No, no nuclear power, no offshore drilling."

Wisconsin has been very close in the previous two Presidential races. With little more than 100 days left to the election, the Chairman says this will be the first of many sessions in the state.
