Governor Doyle is under attack for leading a summit on global warming.

The Governor is in California, where he's co-hosting a Global Climate Summit that's focused on saving state money and creating jobs. However, Republican state Representative Jim Ott (R-Mequon) says proposals aimed at reducing emissions will only result in higher rates paid by consumers.

Ott, a former TV meteorologist, says the Governor would do better by staying in Wisconsin and working on the state's $5 billion budget deficit.
