Governor Scott Walker is looking to sell his family’s home in suburban Milwaukee.
The Republican governor’s house in Wauwatosa was listed for sale over the weekend. Walker has owned the white two-story, three-bedroom house for almost nine years. It’s been listed with an asking price of $338,000.
In a tweet to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Walker said he and First Lady Tonette want to downsize their personal living quarters, as their two sons finish up college.
The home was built 92 years ago. Premar Real Estate from Delafield describes it as an “exceptional colonial” house with an in-ground swimming pool, a front entry sunroom, and a chimney that Walker rebuilt.
