The governors of Wisconsin and Kentucky are making a friendly wager on the outcome of Saturday’s NCAA Final Four men’s basketball game between their states’ flagship universities. “The Badgers season has been un-BO-lievable,” said Wisconsin Governor Walker, alluding to Badger Head Coach Bo Ryan, whose making his first trip to the Final Four. “The Badgers have the momentum and skills to tame the Kentucky Wildcats and move onto the final.”

Walker wagered an array of Wisconsin beer, bratwursts, and cheese for a Badgers victory; Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear bet a fully stocked Kentucky bourbon bar that the University of Kentucky Wildcats will win – and he predicted Wisconsin bratwurst on the grill.

“The Wildcats are playing their best basketball of the year, and they’ve already taken out three of last year’s Final Four teams,” Beshear said. “It will be a real treat to see these fantastic coaches, John Calipari and Bo Ryan, go head-to-head, but Kentucky clearly has the edge over the Badgers.” The Badgers face the Wildcats on Saturday at 7:49 p.m. in Arlington, Texas.
