Green Bay Phoenix logo 2Green Bay got a season high 22-points from junior forward Mehryn Kraker to lead the Phoenix to a 66-62 win over Belmont at the Kress Center on Tuesday night.

The Phoenix (9-2) trailed 50-46 heading into the fourth quarter, but once again pulled out a come-from-behind win.  Green Bay outscored Belmont 20-12 in the final ten minutes.

Kraker scored ten of her 22 points in the fourth quarter.

Green Bay trailed by as many as 12 points in the game before making their comeback.

Sophomore Jessica Lindstrom recorded the first double-double (11 points/10 rebounds) of her Phoenix career.

Green Bay takes a week off before hosting Dayton on December 30th at the Kress Center.

Marquette with city bragging rights

The Marquette Golden Eagles used a 17-0 run at the end of the first quarter and went on to beat crosstown rival UW-Milwaukee 101-81 on Tuesday night at the Klotsche Center.

Natisha Hiedeman scored a career-high 30 points on six-of-eight shooting from three-point range as the Golden Eagles improved to 5-6.  Fellow freshman Allazia Blockton also recorded a new career high with 25 points.

Sierra Ford-Washington had 24 to lead the Panthers (4-5) in the loss.
