The Green Bay Gamblers have fired their head coach and general manager, Mark Mazzoleni.

Mazzoleni was in his fourth season with the Gamblers, who have struggled mightily on the ice, going 11-30-4 so far this season.

The Green Bay native previously served as head coach at Harvard University (1999-2004), head coach at Miami of Ohio (1994-1999), assistant coach at Minnesota (1991-1994) and his first head coaching job at Division III UW-Stevens Point (1985-1991) where his Pointer teams won three NCAA Championships.

PMI, which owns the Gamblers, will soon begin its search for a replacement head coach and general manager.

Gamblers Assistant Coach Dave Insalaco will become the interim head coach and general manager for the remainder of the season.
