team has been picked to finish first in the Horizon League preseason poll, released by the league office today.
Detroit is picked to finish second, followed by Wright State, Loyola and Cleveland State at #5. UW-Milwaukee is 7th.
Green Bay has won a record 14 straight regular season Horizon League Championships.
Kevin Borseth’s Phoenix tip off their 2012-13 season hosting Judson in exhibition play Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2pm, followed by Michigan Tech Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7pm. Regular season play begins on the road at Northern Iowa Saturday, Nov. 10 at 2:30pm.
