The Packers have not only captured the last six games, but they’ve also won 14 of the last 15 against NFC North Division foes.
Aaron Rodgers is 9-2 against the Bears. Mike McCarthy is 10-5, including an 8-1 mark since 2009.
Why do the Packers have such good numbers against Chicago? Simple. Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. Those two have been around exclusively since 1992. The Bears meanwhile, have started 26 quarterbacks during that time period.
It’s a position that displays a teams consistency. The Packers have been one of the most consistent teams in the league during the last two decades. The Bears have struggled to find it.
The Bears are allowing 391 yards a game, which bodes well for the Packers. They’re giving up 123 rushing yards or more in four games this season. They also have struggled to formulate any kind of pass rush, which means more good news for Aaron Rodgers. With Lance Briggs injured, the Bears will be starting two rookie linebackers as well.
Don’t forget, the Packers have been dominant at Lambeau Field. They’ve won 10-straight home games and 23 of their last 24.
The one thing Chicago does well is create turnovers. They’re top 5 in the league in that category.
For Chicago to win, they will need the Packers to play poorly and the Bears will need to win the turnover battle. Anything short of that and the Packers will be extending their win streak to 5 and their win streak against the Bears to seven.
