The UW-Green Bay Phoenix women ended the 2006-07 basketball season as the NCAA women's free throw shooting champs. The Phoenix season mark of 80.1% edged out Idaho State, which hit 79.9% on the season.
It's just the 3rd time in NCAA history a team has surpassed the 80% plateau for the season.
A total of seven Green Bay players converted 80% or better this season.
