The Green Bay women's basketball team (14-4, 6-1) recovered from its first Horizon League loss in 25 outings with its 78-52 win over Loyola Wednesday at the Kress Center. Green Bay improved to 8-1 at home with the win, the 31st straight victory over the Ramblers for the Phoenix.
Junior Erin Templin posed a game-high and career-best 17 points on 7 of 9 shooting while adding seven rebounds. Lavesa Glover missed her final shot of the game to finish with 16 points in a 7 of 8 effort from the field in 17 minutes of work.
Green Bay scored 31 points on Loyola turnovers.
Loyola fell to 3-14 overall, 1-5 in the Horizon League.
Green Bay moved a game in front of UW-Milwaukee after the Lady Panthers fell to Illinois-Chicago 62-59. The Phoenix will host Illinois-Chicago on Saturday night.
