Green Bay Phoenix guard Carrington Love, fresh off of a career high 28 points against Georgia State on Saturday, has been named the Horizon League’s Player of the Week.
Love hit 10 of 14 from the field in Saturday’s 78-61 win over Georgia State. 16 of the 28 points came after halftime.
In two games last week, Love averaged 22 points a game and shot 51.6% from the field (16-31). He made 5 of 12 three-pointers.
Love now ranks second on the team in scoring, averaging 10.7 points a game. He is now second on the Phoenix squad in scoring, averaging 10.7 points a game.
Green Bay closes out the non-conference portion of their schedule at home on Wednesday (noon) against Chicago State.
