A man so drunk he drove through an Antigo motel last summer, killing the man inside, has been convicted on felony charges.
Langlade County District Attorney Ralph Utke says 58-year-old Stephen Van Vleit pled guilty to counts of homicide by negligent use of a motor vehicle, homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, and felony bail jumping. The charges carry a possible sentence of up to 25 years in prison.

Van Vleit crashed through a hotel wall in Antigo last summer, running over and killing a man who lying on a bed in the room. His blood alcohol level was over .40, more than five times the legal limit.

Sentencing has been set for December third.
