Infielder Bill Hall is the Milwaukee Brewers 2006 Most Valuable Player.  Hall was named on 10 of 11 ballots cast by members of the Milwaukee chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America.

Hall took over at shortstop in May for an injured J-J Hardy and went on to hit 35 home runs and drive in 85 runs.  He finished with a .270 batting average in 148 games.

Closer Francisco Cordero edged out left-handed starter Chris Capuano for the team's Most Valuable Pitcher award.
