Appleton native JP Hayes finished as the runner-up of the PGA Tour's John Deere Classic over the weekend. Hayes was one shot behind first time tour winner Jon Senden. Hayes missed a makeable Eagle putt on 17 that would have tied him for the lead. His 2nd place finish won him $432,000. That moved him from 203rd to 109th on the season money list.
