The Green Bay Packers learned that halfback Vernand Morency will probably miss at least two games because of a lower back injury and starting fullback Brandon Miree will likely miss this Sunday's game at Buffalo because of a hyperextended left elbow.

Miree's absense will allow veteran William Henderson to move back into the starting lineup after losing his starting job in week 4.  With Morency out, Noah Herron , who already has a 100-yard rushing day this season, will work behind starter Ahman Green

Morency has been a good fit in the Packers zone running scheme.  He's gained 230 yards and is averaging 4.3 yards a carry.

The Packers have said  they may look to sign another runningback to add some depth for the next few weeks.
