A mixed report in the state’s housing market last month.

According to figures released by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, home sales in the state for September were relatively flat compared to the same time period from last year. They dropped by about 0.2 percent, which the WRA’s Dave Clark says is a good indication, when you consider 2013 was a strong year for sales.

Prices did see a slight increase during September, up 3.1 percent. Clark says the statewide median home price was $149,000, which he says is a good indication that the statewide market is “relatively stable.”
