The Green Bay Packers have gone winless in their last five games. Four losses and one tie and Green Bay’s playoff chances are circling faster down the drain with every game that Aaron Rodgers doesn’t play.
The offense can’t score points, the defense gives up too many and there’s nothing special about the Packers’ special teams.
The Packers aren’t out of the playoffs yet and 2010 reminds fans to not give up. But Aaron Rodgers played in almost every game that season. He was knocked out of the Lions game and didn’t play at New England the following week. When he returned, the Packers beat the Giants and Bears and then got help to secure a spot in the post season playoffs. Of course you know the rest of the story, the Packers went on to win the Super Bowl.
Could the Packers be that lucky again? First things first, they need to get their quarterback back on the field and they need the defense and special teams to play considerably better or it won’t matter.
