There's a high level of excitement for one Madison man, who's in Washington for Barack Obama's inauguration.

Madison Urban League Past Chairman Derrell Connor says it's a time of hope for many, as the nation gets set to swear in its first African-American president. He says it's a "game changer" in terms of how this country is viewed around the world.

Connor says the occasion will "blow open" doors that have been closed for millions of people across the country.

Connor says expectations are high for Obama, but he thinks the 44th President will deliver.
