Current U-S foreign policy is misguided and out of touch. That from the Reverend Jesse Jackson. The civil rights leader was in Madison Wednesday to help The Capital Times newspaper observe its 90th birthday. "Often diplomacy does not work, because we don't try it," Jackson said. "We don't give ourselves a chance to think it through, because we want to shoot it out."

The former presidential candidate is not impressed with the current crop of candidates for President, who he says are focusing more on style than substance. Jackson, who has not endorsed a candidate, believes the key to victory in 2008 is getting new voters to the polls. WIBA has more on the Jackson visit.
