According to reports, Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski has been offered the head coaching job at Boston College and could officially be named to the post on Wednesday.
Both the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald reported that sources indicate Jagodzinski was offered the job in the past 24 hours.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy declined to comment on the situation at his afternoon press conference today (Monday).
Jagodzinski would likely be required to finish out the season with the Packers. The Packers would then be in the market for an offensive coordinator and it's likely that Mike McCarthy would look for one that has experience in the zone-blocking system.
