Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, the "Man in Red" is busy taking toy requests from kids around the world. Correspondent Paul Knoff interviewed Santa during a tree lighting ceremony is downtown Neillsville. Santa, who received a fire truck escort to the event, was relaxed and as jolly as ever, reporting that all the youngsters in attendence were "very good kids."

Santa was bullish about his ability to produce, despite the sour economy. "It seems like the money comes in anyway," said Santa. "We're doing real good." Santa would not elaborate on where the money was coming from. Many children have noticed Santa's busy schedule and might question how one person can be so many places at one time. Santa says "computer technology" has made his job much easier. "We've got it in the sleigh. We can really get around a lot faster to all the houses."
