Jolly. The big defensive lineman has had a good camp, returning from a three-year absence from the game. The question is, has Jolly done enough to make the 53-man roster?
Jolly has come a long way. When he arrived in Green Bay, he looked like a player that had been away from the game for three years. Making it all the way back would be a long haul. But the Packers set the course, allowing Jolly to return slowly and work his way back into shape.
As training camp progressed, Jolly’s condition improved and his production on the field increased. He’s an athlete in a big man’s body and it has led to an interception in a preseason game, knocked down passes and some solid run defense.
It would appear Jolly has done enough to make the team, but you never know.

Regardless of what happens, Jolly is thankful for the opportunity the Packers have given him. He’s been out of the game for three years, taking care of a drug problem that saw him suspended from the NFL and jailed.

Jolly and the Packers face the Kansas City Chiefs in the final preseason game tonight in Kansas City. Then the final roster cut-down has to be completed by 3pm on Saturday.
