Outgoing Kaukauna football coach Mark Jonas will take the new head job at Ashwaubenon next season. He replaces interim coach Larry Nelson. Nelson served one season at Ashwaubenon after taking over last summer after the death of Rich Bessert.
Jonas led Kaukauna to a 9-3 record last season and is 94-69 over his career. He lost his job both as a coach and teacher at Kaukauna due to teacher cutbacks.
Ashwaubenon went 6-4 last season and lost in the first round of the WIAA playoffs.
