2002 UW-Stevens Point graduate Steve Jones has been named to succeed Steve Jorgenson as head football coach at Kimberly.
Jones has been at Kimberly for six years and offensive coordinator under Jorgenson for the past five. Kimberly has captured three conference championships and two state titles during that time.
Jones was a four-year varsity player at UW-Stevens Point, playing wide receiver. He then coached one year as a graduate assistant under John Meich.
Jones went on to coach and teach at Baraboo for three years before moving to Kimberly.
